• Sets the minimal binding standards for all authorities to secure critical communications and information infrastructures, obligating them to develop emergency plans.
• Develops risk monitoring and periodic cyber threats follow-up mechanisms, assigning mandates and roles of various authorities and institutions at the national level.
• Develops and activates standards and mechanisms for determining the reliabilities that exist between the basic and critical infrastructures with their operators, and all elements existing beyond, in order to avoid successive impacts.
• Adopts cybersecurity standards for systems in various sectors, and adds cybersecurity quality standards thereto.
• Adopts the security level assessment and clearance and specification for those operating the critical communications and information infrastructures.
• Develops a mechanism for following up on and protecting the official governmental websites and portals.
